HISTORICAL:
   Founded in 2013, from the professional experience gained at the Odebrecht, OAS, Enron and Mitsui Gas, fulfilling the dream of two professionals, Eduardo and Victor Requena. In the face of the relationship, the amount of knowledge and experience acquired, they embraced the opportunity and formalized the partnership. Therefore we have the Requena Engineering LTD. - REQENG, solidifying more than 35 years of experience in the market.

CORPORATE PURPOSE:

  • Scenarios and markets assessment;
  • Business implementation, assessment and brokerage;
  • Selection and transfer of technology and master plans;
  • Definition and implementation of strategic plans;
  • Development / defense of claims (contractual claims);
  • Impact assessment, mediation and arbitration;
  • Bidding Prospectus Development (Law 8.666 / 93 and Law 13.303/16) and Bidding Committees training;

  • General technical advice of business issues and civil engineering area.
TEACHING:
   What is the "value" of our work? How much is the solution to your problem?
   Sometimes it is a mistake to judge the value of an activity just by the amount of time it takes to accomplish the work.
   A good example is the case of the expert who was called to fix a very large and extremely complex computer... a 12-million-dollar computer. Sitting in front of the monitor, he pressed a few keys, shook his head, muttered something to himself and shut down the equipment.
   He took a small pocket screwdriver and turned a tiny screw round - one and a half laps.
   Then he turned on the computer to prove that it worked perfectly.
   The company's president looked surprised and satisfied. He offered to pay cash for the service.
   - How much do I owe you? - He asked.
   - A thousand dollars for the service.
   - A thousand dollars? One thousand dollars for a few minutes of work? A thousand dollars just to tighten a simple screw? I know my computer is worth $ 12 million, but a thousand dollars is a lot of money. I will only pay if you send me a detailed invoice to justify the value.
   The specialist nodded and walked away…
   The next morning the president received the invoice, read it carefully, shook his head and immediately paid the bill.
   The invoice read:

   SERVICES:
   Tightening a screw.............................................................. $ 1
   Knowing which screw to tighten............................... $ 999.  
   We often say that one does not charge for what one does, but for what one knows! Simple solutions solve complex problems. What divides the amateurs and the professionals is knowing exactly what to do!

    IN BRIEF: 
   The professional’s remuneration must be equivalent to the benefit received by the contractor.

EDUARDO VICTOR REQUENA

Graduated in Civil Engineering from UFRJ in 1977 (Decree 23.569 of 12/11/1933) and in Economic Engineering and Industrial Management from UFRJ in 1979, he has accumulated a vast experience in small and large works in construction companies like Odebrecht and OAS and in recent years in works of Distribution of Natural Gas (ENRON and Mitsui Gas).

VICTOR E. PEDROSA REQUENA

Graduated in Civil Engineering from UFSC in 2011 (Resolution 218 of 29/06/1973), Occupational Safety Engineering (SOCIESC / FGV / 2014 - Resolution 359 of 31/7/1991), and in Audit, Evaluations & Engineering Reports (IPOG/2018), he has added modernism and updating of concerning standards to works.
